“Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority hosts Sexual Assault Awareness Forum

Every 73 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted, And every nine minutes that victim is a child.  Only 5 out of every 1000 perpetrators will end up in prison.”

In conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Epsilon Kappa Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. hosted a Zoom/Facebook Live forum on Sexual Assault Awareness on April 22, 2021.

The Forum was hosted by Soror Tiffany Roy and the panelist were Sgt. Richard Taylor, Dayton Police Department, Special Victims Unit, Ms. Sandra M. Hunt, Victim Witness Division, Office of Mat Heck Jr., Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney and Ms. Megan Garrison, RA-Sexual Violence Advocate and Preventionist, YWCA Dayton.
