History
The Epsilon Kappa Sigma (EKS) Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated has been serving the Greater Dayton area for over 30 years! EKS was chartered on July 31, 1980, by five women who wanted to continue the work of Sigma beyond the undergraduate yard.

Throughout the years, the chapter has continued to grow and build upon Sigma Gamma Rho’s vision of “Greater Service, Greater Progress” in the community. The chapter's signature community service programs include; Sigma Helping Hands for the Homeless, African American Wellness Walk, March of Dimes, Brigid's Path, and Breast Cancer Awareness.
